Questions About Our Services
What services do you offer?
We provide full-service DJ and hosting packages tailored for weddings, private parties, corporate events, and milestone celebrations. Our services include live DJ, professional sound and intelligent lighting systems, wireless microphones, wireless background music, and professional Event Hosting / Master of Ceremonies (MC) services.
Can I book you as just a DJ, or just a Host/MC?
Yes! While most of our clients love the seamless experience of our Combined DJ & Host Package, you can book our services individually:
DJ Only: For high-energy music, sound, and dance floor lighting.
Host/MC Only: To keep your event timeline running smoothly, make announcements, introduce speakers, and engage guests.
Combined DJ & Host: Complete end-to-end entertainment and coordination.
How far in advance should I book?
For weddings and peak Saturday dates (especially May through September and December), we recommend booking 9 to 12 months in advance. For private parties or weekday events, 3 to 6 months is usually sufficient, though last-minute availability does open up occasionally. Contact us to check our availability and place a booking.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, to secure your booking date, we require a deposit of 25% of the total cost of your event.
How do I check your availability?
You can check our current availability by requesting a callback or sending us a booking enquiry directly through our website.
How long does setup and pack-down take?
Standard setup takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes, depending on access to the venue room. Pack-down typically takes 45 to 60 minutes.
What equipment do you supply, and what do you need from the venue?
We bring everything required to run your entertainment: high-grade PA speakers, wireless microphones and custom lighting rigs as standard.
All we need from your venue is:
A flat, dry performance area (minimum 3m x 2m recommended).
At least 2 standard, grounded power outlets nearby.
Protection from weather if performing outdoors (a fully enclosed marquee or cover).
How do I make a booking?
In order to make a booking, you will need to check our availability. You can do this by either requesting a callback or by sending us a booking enquiry. We will then discuss your requirements with you.
Can we submit a playlist or a "Do Not Play" list?
Yes! We encourage a collaborative approach. We ask for a shortlist of 10 to 20 “must-play” tracks that represent your tastes, along with any songs or genres you strictly do NOT want played. We then build the set around your preferences while reading the crowd to keep the floor packed.
Do you take guest requests on the night?
Yes, as long as you give us permission to do so! We filter guest requests through your musical guidelines—if someone requests a track on your “Do Not Play” list or something that will clear the room, we’ll politely handle it and pivot to a better alternative.
What genres of music do you play?
We are open-format DJs experienced in blending across all eras and genres, including:
Pop, Chart Top 40, & Dance Hits
70s Disco, 80s Synthpop, 90s Dance & Club Classics
Motown, Soul, & Funk
RnB, Hip-Hop, & Reggaeton
Rock, Indie, & Alternative Classics
How much does it cost?
The cost for our services depends on your individual requirements. As we offer a wide range of options and packages, we will need to discuss these requirements with you before we can provide you with a quote.
What happens if we need to change our date or cancel?
If you need to change your date, we will transfer your deposit to your new date free of charge, subject to our availability. If you cancel, the deposit remains non-refundable, but any additional balance paid ahead of time will be handled according to our standard cancellation terms in your agreement.
Do you carry Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and PAT-tested equipment?
Yes, absolutely. We hold full Public Liability Insurance (typically up to £10m depending on venue requirements) and all of our electrical equipment is regularly PAT-tested for safety. We can send digital certificates directly to your venue upon request.
